2. Email newsletter
We only send email newsletters to your email address with your prior consent. You give us this consent – which can be revoked at any time – by entering your email address in the field provided for subscribing to the newsletter.
To protect you from unintentional harassment, we use a so-called double opt-in procedure for ordering email newsletter subscriptions. This means: After ordering the email newsletter subscription, you will receive an email asking you to confirm the subscription.
After a successful registration, your data will be stored as long as you have subscribed to the newsletter.
You can unsubscribe from a newsletter you have subscribed to with us at any time – by clicking on the corresponding link at the end of the newsletter or by sending a message to the contact details provided in the imprint.
The storage of more detailed information regarding the time of your subscription and the IP address used is in our interest, in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) DSGVO.
3. Contact form
You will find a contact form on www.sikom.de under the link „Contact“. You can leave us a message via this contact form. Furthermore, you can leave your contact details in this contact form if you would like us to contact you personally.
In the contact form, the following information will be requested from you on a mandatory basis:
Email address, name and company.
If you wish to be contacted by telephone, we also need your telephone number.
All other information is voluntary. You have the option of sending us an enquiry in free text within the contact form.
We only use the data you enter in the contact form to answer your enquiry. If you wish us to contact you personally by email or telephone in the contact form, we will use your email address or telephone number exclusively for the purpose of contacting you.
We delete the data accruing in this context after the storage is no longer necessary or restrict the processing if there are legal obligations to retain data.
The processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures which are carried out at the request of the data subject, in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b) DSGVO.
4. Integrated services
For the design of our website and the provision of additional functions, we integrate some external services.
All services described below can be deactivated by using special plugins for your browser or, more precisely, the necessary connection to the corresponding servers is prevented. Please note, however, that the use of such tools may result in a loss of everyday comfort – because many things will no longer function as you would normally expect.

When you access the website, no connection is initially established to the YouTube (Google) servers. Instead of the video, you will only be shown a preview image, which we retrieve from our web server.
Should you click on the corresponding button to view the video, a connection will automatically be established from your browser to the YouTube (Google) server and thus your IP address will also be transmitted. If you have a user account with Google and are logged in when you visit our website, additional data will be transmitted to Google’s servers so that the provider of this service may also be able to associate your visit to our website with your user behaviour.
We would like to point out that we, as the provider of our website, have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by YouTube, nor do we have any possibility of further restricting the transmission of data to YouTube and its partners.

OpenStreetMap
We include map material from OpenStreetMap on our website. OpenStreetMap is a project of the OpenStreetMap Foundation, 132 Maney Hill Road, Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands B72 1JU, United Kingdom, which collects freely usable geodata and stores it in a database for free use.
When you access the website, no connection is initially made to OpenStreetMap’s servers. Instead of the embedded map, you will only be shown a preview image that we retrieve from our web server.
Should you click on the corresponding button to share the map, a connection from your browser to the OpenStreetMap server is automatically established and thus your IP address is also transmitted. If you have a user account with OpenStreetMap and are logged in when you visit our website, additional data will be transmitted to the OpenStreetMap servers so that the provider of this service may also be able to associate your visit to our website with your user behaviour.

If you do not wish the data to be merged with your social media user account, you must log out before using the services. 6. Publication of job advertisements / job applications
Your application data will be collected and processed electronically by us for the purpose of processing the application. If your application is followed by the conclusion of an employment contract, your transmitted data may be stored by us in your personnel file for the purpose of the usual organisational and administrative process in compliance with the relevant legal provisions.
The deletion of the data you have submitted will take place automatically two months after notification of the rejection if your job application is rejected.
This does not apply if longer storage is necessary due to legal requirements (for example, the duty of proof under the General Equal Treatment Act) or if you have expressly consented to longer storage in our database of prospective applicants. There, the data will be deleted after 2 years.
The processing of your data in the context of the application procedure is permissible for the decision on the establishment of an employment relationship, in accordance with § 26 Bundesdatenschutzgesetz – Federal Data Protection Act – (BDSG n.F.).

You have the following rights with regard to the personal data concerning you:
